Personal Data Policy: Certain area’s of the Site require membership registration. In order to interact within these areas you will be required to provide the Site with personal data. The Author will have access to this personal data for audit, statistical and analytical purpose relating to the use of the site and on occasion to use this data to contact you directly. HarrisCPD will not make available, your data to any third party without your consent. However the site will need to share your personal data with some third party when processing payments, this will include Paypal.

Personal Data may be stored on a server that is provided by the ISP hosting this site which currently is Fasthost.co.uk.

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us (at an administrative cost). You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Leaving Comments: When registered members leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Uploading Media: If you upload images to the site, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies Policy: If you leave a comment on the site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. Retention Period: The site will keep your personal data for the duration of the period you are a member of the site. We shall retain your data only for as long as necessary in accordance with applicable laws.

On the closure of your membership, we may keep your data for up to 7 years after you have cancelled your membership. We may not be able to delete your data before this time due to our legal and/or accountancy obligations. We may also keep it for research or statistical purposes. We assure you that your personal data shall only be used for these purposes stated herein.
